Kind
There are two main kinds of text: fictional and non-fictional. Fictional text is created from the author's imagination, while non-fictional text is based on real facts and events.

Red Riding Hood's grandmother answered the door. The wolf disguised himself as Red Riding Hood and told her that he was bringing her food. Red Riding Hood's grandmother let the wolf into the house.
The wolf ate Red Riding Hood's grandmother. Then, he put on her clothes and got into her bed.
When Red Riding Hood arrived at her grandmother's house, she knocked on the door. The wolf, disguised as her grandmother, told her to come in.
Red Riding Hood came in and saw her grandmother in bed. She noticed that her grandmother looked different. She had big eyes, big ears, and a big mouth.
"Grandmother, what big eyes you have!" Red Riding Hood said.
"All the better to see you with, my dear," the wolf said.
"Grandmother, what big ears you have!" Red Riding Hood said.
"All the better to hear you with, my dear," the wolf said.
"Grandmother, what a big mouth you have!" Red Riding Hood said.

The wolf jumped out of bed and chased Red Riding Hood around the room. Red Riding Hood screamed for help.
A woodcutter heard Red Riding Hood's screams and came to investigate. He burst into the room and killed the wolf with his axe.
Red Riding Hood and her grandmother were safe. They hugged each other and thanked the woodcutter for saving them.
